How do I claim a puppy after it is born?

After submitting an application and being approved, you may then place a deposit on your desired puppy if deposits are open (the puppy is listed as AVAILABLE) and the pup of your choosing is still available. This deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances except if something were to happen to the puppy in my care and is non-transferable if you should choose not to go forward with the purchase, but the amount will be applied to the total price of the puppy if you choose to continue with the purchase. The deposit amount will be listed for each puppy. No Puppies Will Be Held Without A Deposit!

What do you feed your adult dogs and puppies?

Here at BGC we feed our adults a mix of Royal Canin Adult Chihuahua kibble and fresh foods.The puppies here start on Royal Canin's Starter Mother and Baby dog teeny tiny kibbles, but by the time they're ready to go home with you they will be eating Royal Canin's Chihuahua Puppy kibbles and will have also been exposed to fresh foods!Also, anyone who purchases a puppy from BGC will receive an e-mail from Royal Canin with a coupon for 35% off your first online order!

How much do your puppies cost? What payments are accepted?

Our puppies are priced individually, usually between $3,000 and $5,000. Prices may be higher for harder to produce colors, or if the puppy needs extra care (tiny). Check each puppy's listing for specific details. Occasionally, but rarely, puppies may be listed for more or less.These are the payment options:1. If you initially contacted me on Good Dog, all payments MUST to be paid through Good Dog’s payment platform.2. If you contacted me directly and NOT through Good Dog, I can send a payment link to accept payments through Good Dog with a personalized pay link.*Although GoodDog allows payments with credit/debit cards; I suggest making any payments directly from your Bank Account to avoid the processing fee**Good Dog‘s Payment Platform also offers buyers "Protection and Support" for a fee, but it can be opted out of*You can also apply to pay through GoodDog via 'Klarna' with a payment plan.3. Cash, Venmo (friends and family), and Zelle are all accepted as well.

How do I get the puppy?

I'm located in Forsyth, Georgia.

You can pick up your puppy here at my home or I can meet at any of these locations for 72 cents per mile:
Augusta, Ga
Valdosta, Ga
Kennesaw, Ga
Montgomery, AL

I can also meet you at the ATL airport where you can pick the puppy up from me. **Be sure to call your airline and let them know you will be returning with a pet. The pet fee is around $150.00 and you will need an airline approved pet carrier that can fit under the seat in front of you**.

I know a Flight Nanny who may be able to fly your puppy to your nearest major airport for the cost of a round-trip ticket + pet fee + transportation fee.

I will not ship my puppies via ground transportation services!

No, while we can make educated guesses on adult weight and the size of the dog we cannot guarantee it.

What is the difference between Full and Limited Registration?

Full Registration allows dogs to be bred, have their puppies registered, and participate in dog shows and events like agility and dock-diving. Limited Registration prevents offspring from being registered and dogs from entering dog shows, but they can still join events. We sell our puppies with Limited Registration (Pet Price/No Breeding or Show rights).
 Full Registration (Breeding/Show Price) is rarely offered and only to approved individuals for an extra fee. Not all puppies qualify for Full Registration. Our goal is to promote good breeding practices, including health testing (DNA and other tests sent to OFA).

How long until we can bring our puppy home?

Chihuahua puppies can leave my care between 8-10 weeks of age depending on their needs. Occasionally, but rarely, a puppy may need to stay in my care for up to 12 weeks. Typically all puppies are able to leave to their forever homes by 8 weeks of age.

Can you hold my puppy if I can't pick it up on time?

Yes, we can hold your puppy past the pick-up date for a fee of $15 per day. This fee must be paid in full before the puppy leaves our care. Additionally, any routine vet fees incurred during this time (vaccinations, fecal exam, flea/worm prevention) must be reimbursed in full before the puppy leaves our care.

Can I visit to see or play with the puppies?

No, we do not allow visitors to see or play with the puppies. This is for safety reasons, as there has been an increase in home break-ins and thefts involving dogs and puppies. Additionally, outside germs and parasites can harm our puppies and adult dogs (e.g., Parvo, distemper, giardia, coccidia).
